Lee Burridge is back with his first solo compilation since 2003, and for fans this latest masterpiece has been well worth the wait. His is Number 12 in the esteemed Balance mix series, and he once again demostrates why he is a dancefloor favorite around the world.  This triple disc set captures all the fun and eccentricity of Lee's performances, and while it's difficult to pinpoint exactly what genre to file it under, Lee himself will tell you it's "wonky, wobbly, bassline-driven, trippy, melodic, nasty, gentle, deep, spacious, rocking and above all 100% cool!” -- and I'm wont to agree with him.

Black Disc kicks off the journey with a reserved and minimal vibe, building itself up slowly and setting the stage for the rest of the session. Red Disc is a bit more gritty and alive, stirring up intricate house beats,  techy hooks and sublte tribal undercurrents. Green Disc completes the set with hypnotic drums and an underground tech-house vibe that will curl the hairs of any true-blood dance music enthusiast.

The set spans the musical spectrum -- taking you from open to close -- and delivers the "complete Lee Burridge experience in one package."
