Infected Mushroom. The name itself conjures dark and twisted images of psychedelia.
What could be more fitting for the world’s biggest and best known psy-trance band?
This month, the Mushroom cloud will be descending on Denver, as Infected swings through for a single night of mayhem. The band’s unique sound has evolved over their past five albums, various projects and performances; the new release Vicious Delicious has retained a dirty edge while simultaneously beckoning to an entirely new listener base. It's a musical miscellany of melodies and a hybrid of hard-hitting trance, psychedelia, rock, and metal.
Their 2007 world tour is not only the original duo.
Of course Amit "Duvdev" Duvdevani is back on the mic, belting out vocals both
gritty and melodious, and Erez Eizen is working his magic on the keyboards, but
they've brought with them riff master Tommy Cunningham on guitar and Brazilian percussion legend Rogerio Jardim. This is one show not to be missed!
