How long have you been in the business?
I've been in radio for 10 years.
How'd you get into it?
I was in the right place at the right time! They were hiring for van driver/promotional person at the hip hop station and as I walked in through the front door, a lady asked me what I was there for and I told her I was there for an interview. I got one on the spot. And the rest is history! I was at KS107.5 for 7 years and currently I'm an on-air Personality on 95.7 The Party 7pm-12am!!
How did you get your name BLAZE?

How much influence do you have on play lists?
The influence I have on Party play lists comes from the vibe of the city. If I'm at a club, lounge or department store and there is a song that we as a station overlooked but the ladies are dancing and having a great time to, I will go to bat for that song to be on our play list to make the city happy.
Celebrity encounters?
Russell Simmons, Snoop Dogg, John Elway, Bill Belamy, Mike Epps, Boyz II Men, Rob Base, BBD, Coolio, Brooke Burke and more.
Memorable experiences?
I hung out with Snoop Dogg for 3 hours at the Fillmore in 1999. I rolled 15 cigars for him and you can guess the rest!!
Favorite aspects of job?
My favorite aspect of the job is interacting with the people!
Most tedious or boring aspects of job?
THERE ISN’T ONE. IF YOU FIND ONE, YOU SHOULDN'T BE DOING IT!!!

Craziest station promotions?
The craziest promotion I have ever been involved in is was the 2007 Protest of American Idol. Me and my intern lived and broadcasted live from inside Elitch Gardens, 300 feet off the ground on the observation deck.
Why do you like Colfax so much?
You can find anything on the FAX, it’s great!!!
Advice for aspiring jocks?
NOPE, I NEED MY JOB!! Well there is one- When the competition stops talking about you, then, and only then, should you worry!!
